THE TIME I SAW LADY GAGA – 150 YEAR CELEBRATIONS AT THE LANGHAM

Yes, the title reads correctly – I saw Lady Gaga! And yes, she is just as fabulous in the flesh as she is on YouTube/The Daily Mail/ Instagram/ as you had imagined!

I was fortunate enough to attend the Langham London 150 year Birthday celebrations earlier this year and it was epic. Not only was the food to die for but the hotel and it’s new club lounge was exceptional. The launch of the new club lounge coincided with the Birthday celebration cause who doesn’t love newness when you get older?

The Langham Hotel opened in 1865 as Europe’s first Grand Hotel and began serving the likes of the rich and famous. The hotel claimed to have invented the tradition of the afternoon tea (an institution I am more than glad for) and became renowned for its luxury finishings (such as electric lights!). Over the years, it has played host to many notable guests including Charles Dickens and Louis-Napoleon III. And then this year – Lady Gaga.

What a pleasure it was to celebrate such an immense achievement – 150 years of service to the British people. Here is to 150 more years!
