GHOST’S NEW FRAGRANCE LAUNCH – GHOST GIRL

ghost girl perfume review

I recently attended the most wicked perfume launch event for Ghost Girl – Ghost’s feisty new fragrance sister with a funky and sweet edge. It was at The Hoxton and was full of surprises; from sweet treats, fortune tellers (my future didn’t sound that exciting tbh ha), candy floss, pick-and-mix, WAH nail technicians, Seekers of the Sun tattoos, Ghost Girl flavoured cocktails, photo booths… wicked people! It was basically the event of the year (bold statement alert) and was an event to attend!

Aside from the fact that it was all about launching a fun new fragrance, it was also all about having fun and meeting new and fellow bloggers (for me). And mingle did I! Of course, the Photo Booth was a fave with Lucinda (from Spiced Fox), Ness (her gorge Sister) and I. We had a heap of fun, letting loose and throwing on wigs and faux fur (everyone needs a photo booth i say). And I got to meet a heap of bloggers I had only seen online (always a plus when you move countries).

Onto the perfume!

Top Notes: Bergamot, pear, pomegranate, raspberry
Heart Notes: Tuberose, almond flower, orange flower
Bottom Notes: Amber, Sandalwood

Well, the scent is certainly feminine but with a punch. It is sweet – but not too sickly sweet that you are reminded of your Spice Girls Impulse Teen days… More a gratuitous florally scent that even I; the most discerning perfume wearer; would wear! It is a good one to whack on after the gym to mask the dreaded sweat stench! Or for a freshen-up for a night out. It is a soothing nasal nirvana that is uplifting, flirty, fun but with an edge.

The campaign is faced up by the ever gorgeous Charlotte free, and is aimed at the ‘strong, daring and fun loving girl of today’ thus bringing a new edge to the typically traditional Ghost brand. It is a fun campaign about being yourself, and is a scent I would totally see my younger Cousin rocking!
