ONE BRAND MAKEUP LOOK – CLINIQUE

I have been having a little moment of late with Clinique makeup; all thanks to their innovative products that have been suiting my everyday makeup look to a tee! Not only do they have beautiful lip colours, but their cheek colours are a thing of pure beauty – I don’t want to touch some of them cause they are works of art… But someone’s gotta look the part (and their beauty comes at a cost to my own ha)!

So, in the spirit of one brand makeup looks, I thought I would share with you my current go-to makeup products from Clinique that I have been loving and using on a daily basis.

Products that I used

Clinique Even Better Foundation (in Neutral)

I love a foundation that tells the world I have decent skin (even though I am constantly battling a daily struggle of hyper-pigmentation, lacklustre-ness and uneven skin tone). Sure, it might be lying a wee bit: but if the shoe fits (or the foundation matches your skin, in this case)…. then run with it!

This tiny bottle of magic is an oil-free foundation (shoutout to my fellow acne/ oily skin sufferers) that delivers brighten skin: now, and overtime. It lightly covers imperfections (it says it is full coverage, but I would say it was more medium coverage) and is perfected with a unique mineral blend that leaves the skin instantly perfected – and the perfect canvas for makeup application.

Clinique Even Better Compact Foundation (in Neutral)

This is a tone darker than my skin tone so works perfectly for a wetter contour (and less harsh). When I have a (faux) tan, I don’t tend t use bronzer, so this comes in handy when I need to add definition. It is also perfect for covering up any blemishes or lipstick smudge marks (so I also keep one in my handbag everyday). It has a powdery finish, blends well and offers pretty impressive coverage (if you use as a foundation).

Clinique Cheek Pop (Blush) in Pink Pop*

This innovative, too good to use (although, the colour is worth the sacrifice – trust me) blusher has been a life-saver this British Summer. Being that I am almost devoid of Vitamin D all year round (and more so since I moved to the UK), this little compact has effortlessly been injecting a little colour for that just pinched look. It is a really natural looking colour that brushes on smoothly (and looks virtually powerless).

Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer Rouge Intense in Cola Pop*

I wouldn’t usually wear a brown based lippy, but I am totally loving this one; mostly for the fact that it is super hydrating/ dewy and the colour is totally rocking when I have a slight tan. Because it has a primer, it basically means I don’t need to line my lips for long wear. It is Lucy-proof, that is for sure.

Clinique High Impact Mascara (not pictured)

My Mum is obsessed with this mascara and stocks up big time every time she shops duty free (it is quite exxy in Australia – but everywhere else, it is reasonably priced). Whilst it doesn’t work wonders on my (currently recovering from eyelash extensions) lashes, it does the job by thickening, volumising and making me look like I actually have lashes (always a good thing).

The final look – dewy, flushed and bold (but not too statementy) lips!
