Boy, oh boy – am I in addicted. No, maybe let’s call this affection, cause baby – I am head-over-heels in love with this range that if you took it out of my life, I would cry… and then hunt you down, and force you to give it back. ** breathe Lucy, breathe **. Ok, enough crazy, axe-murder channelling: lets talk details!

I started using a few products from Aspect Skincare about 3 weeks ago. I haven’t stuck to one brand in my beauty routine for..like…ever, so I was a bit hesitant to put so much faith in just one brand. But, in saying that, I am over-the-moon that I did because the results I saw within the first 2 weeks were so dramatic and fantastic, I think I am going to still to this monogamous (skincare) relation – it seems to have more pros then cons!

The products that I engaged in this relationship with, and that formed the basis of my skincare routine, were: The Problem Skin Kit, Phytostat and Pigment Punch.

These are my thoughts and feedback on the three products/ kits.

Aspect Phytostat 9

$79.20 (airless)

Have you ever met a cream that you wished you could shower in? The kind of cream you wish you were so effing wealthy that you could splash out and use a tub a day all over your body cause you basically trust it with your life (or in this case, your face)?! Well, I have – and I had to share it with you.

Aspect Phytostat 9 is all kind of hallelujah. It is a 4-in-1 cream that adjusts to your needs of your skin (I like to call it my skin’s concierge). It restores vitality and hydration reserves, whilst swatting off the visible signs of ageing. Becuase it is nutrient rich, it softens the complexion and even helps dull skin glorious. It features the patented amino-peptide chronoline and antioxidants that are gentle enough for the most delicate skin.

The formula works well on rough and dry skin, fine lines and wrinkles and mature skin.

Aspect Pigment Punch Even Skin Serum

RRP $119

Have you been hit with the dreaded pigmentation lergy? Do you, like me, rival Lindsay Lohan in the pigmentation stakes? Well, if you do, I do NOT feel sorry for you if it was caused by the sun (use sunscreen and we wouldn’t be in this pickle). But if you have pigmentation from your past sun-sins (and use SPF like a boss now) or if it is caused by hormones, then do I have the solution for you!?!

Aspect’s Pigment Punch is the wham.bam.thank you Mam of awesome products. It is suitable for age spots, brown spots, freckles, blotchy uneven skin tones (can I get a raise of hands who suffer this shit, too?!) and even hormonal marks or post acne scars. It helped reduce my pigmentation splattered face, and made me realise that I am actually quite pale under all those brown splotches… and I am ok with that.

Yep, I feel like I am eternally in-debt to this serum. That, or I need to buy stocks in it before I move across to the Motherland (not sure I could cope without using it anymore ha)!

 Aspect Problem Skin Kit

RRP $200

This little kit is directed at skin that is going through a ‘shit time’ and helps to manage oil levels, and keep breakouts under control.

When I started using this, my skin was going through a slump. I was breaking out in random places and I was just not happy. So, this kit certainly helped get my skin back in line.

The kit contains:

  • Purastat 5 Cleanser 30ml
  • Jungle Brew 30ml
  • Exfol L 15 30ml

My favourite was probably the Exfol L 15 because it contains AHA’s that work their magic by accelerating the skins’ natural cell renewal cycle by invisibly lifting away excess accumulation of dull devitalised surface skin cells, thus, revealing a clearer, brighter complexion (goodness, long sentence much?!). It also helped to reduce my imperfections and refine my pores leaving me with a smoother complexion and a clearer and brighter face.

Most AHA’s though, lead to inflamed and red skin as they can be aggressive. Lucky for me, Aspect’s AHAs do no such thing- it is like magic, and just does what it is meant to do… no questions asked. It truly is the best boyfriend my skin could ask for!

My second fave of the kit is the Jungle Brew. In short, it helped reduce my imperfections and inflamed skin, as well as regulating the oil-slick that I sometimes have going on on my forehead.

Oh, and I nearly forgot – Aspect products are free from nasties, meaning no badditives on your skin… ever! #YouAreWelcome

Sounds wonderful, I love good skincare products. Aspect is a new brand for me. I cleanse, tone and moisturise, use night cream daily and use serum, face masks and exfoliate a couple of times a week. I use a variety of brands.
