I recently strolled into Target and stumbled across a brand that I had heard so much about on Instagram – NIP + FAB. All the A and B grade celebrities were ‘oohing’ and ‘ahhing’ about, and I was a bit struck that it could be purchased at Target. We usually see celebs jumping on the bandwagon of $400 facials, or $200 + night creams – but you rarely hear anything being talked about in the ‘affordable’ price range. So, I was pretty stocked I was able to trial two products from the range to see for myself what all the fuss was about.
These are my thoughts:
NIP + FAB Glycolic Fix Scrub
I LOVE a good scrub. I have super uneven and lumpy skin (not pimples, some other kind of crap) so I need all the help I can get in the scrubbing field. This little tube is the creme-de-la-creme of scrubs, and for a nifty, pocket-change sum.
It is a 3-in-1 micro exfoliant that is jammed in with 3% glycolic acid and salicylic acid to help brighten, renew and refine. It works deep in the pores to polish, reduce breakouts and cleanse, and it actually does just that. Oh, and it smell scrumptious too (double win)
NIP + FAB Glycolic Fix Pads
I love these bad-boys. Yep, I probably don’t have to explain any further – I could just end this review right here… But I wont!
I love these pads because they are everything I want in a pad – moisturising, help boost skin clarity and smooth out your skin. Basically, they are the holy-grail oh pads.
There are 60 in the jar, and they contain wet(ish) pads that are soaked in glycolic acid (2.8% to be precise) to help retexture and resurface the skin. Because the glycolic acid is only 2.8%, you can use the pads every day to help boost yours awesomeness. I haven’t been using them for all that long, so my skin’s awesomeness is yet to be unleashed. But, from what I have seen in the 10 days of usage, I am set for some great results!
Since becoming addicted, I have decided that in two weeks time (literally, the next time I have a spare 2 hours to head down to Target) I will be picking up the Bee Sting Lifting Mask (I hear Millie Macintosh is a fan.. and she has amazing skin), heck, all the Venom range, and then adding to the Glycolic range (toner, serum – cause I have a heap of yucky crap/ unevenness going on on my chin)! Yep, I am hooked.
NIP+FAB range can be purchased from Target
I received these products for editorial consideration. As with everything, my opinion is ALWAYS my own.
