I jump at the chance to get out of Sydney – especially when it involves hanging out at my childhood farm with my family. This year has been one epic roller coaster ride of busy – from my blog, to freelance, to Kym announcing she was pregnant, to trying (and epically failing) to save, to my actual full time job – I haven’t really had much of a time to take a breathe and enjoy, well, life! Because I am moving away next year, time with my family is super important to me. So, it was a no brainer that we all needed to get out of Sydney, breathe fresh air into our lungs and spend some quality time together. And what better place to go for long walks with Mum, throw on some winter fashion pieces, write by the fire and snuggle up to my sister’s pregnant belly, than at the Farm?!
Winter didn’t really get into full swing in Sydney, and this kinda made me sad. Winter is my favourite season. I used to live in Austria, and it was my favourite thing- the colder weather, the snow, the warm insulated rooms but chilly exterior – pure, utter heaven! But luckily, I was able to whip out my winter fashion wardrobe up the farm and take on the farm like my playground. It was chilly, brisk and right up my alley.
Here are a few shots from my time away, taken on my Olympus OM-D E-M10. I have been testing out the OM-D E-M10 and have fallen head-over-heels in love with it. It is all kinds of epic, mostly easy to use and has been taking so divine shots – even making me look pretty decent! Oh! And those action shots capturing a split leap in action – no camera I have used has been able to capture that without a blur. So, enjoy!
