There are two things I use every day for work without fail, that just so happen to be from Lancome. These are Lancome Teint Visionnaire foundation and Lancome Hypnose Star: two never-fail, must-wear products that simplify my life dramatically and add a touch of glam to my usually dreary work-wadrobe.
At the start of the year, I made a promise to myself; to make an effort with my everyday look. Usually one to just slap on a BB cream (I still do love a BB on weekends), blush and out I go, I decided to mix-it-up and ensure that full coverage foundation and va va boom lashes became a part of my work look. However, I didn’t want anything too OTT or “I-am-heading-to-a-nightclub-after-work-esque’. Enter Lancome Teint Visionnaire foundation and Lancome Hypnose Star, and not only is my look more refined, clean and funky, but my skin is benefiting from the daily use of the foundation. I call that a win win, don’t you?
Lancome Teint Visionnaire
Not your average foundation, Lancome Teint Visionnaire (I use shade 005) offers complexion perfection thanks to its ability to combine a natural finish with precise coverage (not an easy feat for most foundations- you either have one or the other). It has a creamy texture, that hides imperfections, dark spots and circles, and blends perfectly for an even, satin-like finish, that is natural and non-cakey. It is meant for ‘mature skin’, which just means it borders on the richer and thicker side, but, even though I am only 24, and not exactly sitting on the ‘mature skinned’ side, I am still a fan cause I have hydration zapping skin which thrives in the richness of the formulation.
Being British skinned, I only enlist coverage that have SPF in it, which, as you could imagine, Lancome Teint Visionnaire has in spades (SPF 20 + in fact). It is the perfect SPF level for those who work indoors, and have 1-2 hours in the sun like I do. To top it off, Lancome Teint Visionnaire is a double-effort foundation, as it evens out the skin tone and visibly improves pore size and wrinkles with every use (thanks to LR 2412- the active ingredient in Visionnaire skincare).
If you are after a natural looking foundation, that lends itself to people wondering how you got “that glow”, then you can’t go past  Lancome Teint Visionnaire.
Lancome Hypnose Star
No longer a slave to ‘false claims’ , my everyday mascaras have been replaced with a mere single product: my new BFF Lancome Hypnose Star. It is the perfect addition to my ‘make-an-impact’ make-up wardrobe.
Lancome Hypnose Star offers show-stopping lashes with its dual-sided brush: adding volume and a slight curl for the added ‘wow-factor’. My lashes now look orgasmic, hypnotic and are definitely giving me the everyday ‘glam’ look I wanted to inject into my life (see before and after above).
Hypnotic lashes in an instance, minus the trashy chunkiness- all achievable with Lancome Hypnose Star.
