There is a rose garden in Vienna, that I visited with my Dad. It was an idyllic little place, that soon became my sanctuary when I was feeling a little homesick. 2.5 hr train ride from my little town in Graz, and I was off in my own little world, and full of contentedness. Why? Because Roses reminded me of my childhood, and pruning the rose bushes with my Nan: someone who I miss everyday.
Jurlique Deluxe Edition Rosewater Balancing Mist contains over 10,000 rose petals in every bottle (talk about dedication to a smell), along with Glycerin and Marshmallow to help with locking in moisture, Grapefruit seed for antioxidants and Aloe Vera to help sooth and calm. I think the reason Jurlique Deluxe Edition Rosewater Balancing Mist product resonates with me so intensely, is because it reminds me of this ‘safe place’; of the fairytale I once lived in a foreign land and of the alluring and juxtaposing scents I so craved.
It is also a product I keep on my desk for the sheer indescribable way that it can completely transform my skin from itchy and dry, to hydrated and soothed. Dryness is something that I suffer on a daily basis, and work really hard to fight. Welcoming this baby to my daily ritual was a no brainer, and something that is epidermal caring and physiologically helpful – what other product can do that?
To make Jurlique Deluxe Edition Rosewater Balancing Mist even more brilliant, is the fact that it is benevolent and makes the journey towards beautiful skin; a generous and caring one (beauty inside and out). With every bottle sold, Jurlique will donate funds to Indigenous Schooling in Australia, to help normalise schooling rates in the Indigenous communities, to be on par with those in non-Indigenous communities. Because you didnt have enough reasons to love Jurlique– it is beauty with a cause.
* I was generously gifted this product for consideration. This did not, in any way, influence my opinion on the products.
