THE GOOD OILS – PART TWO

As a follow on to part one, here is part two of the Oils we should all be adding to our lives!
Shu Uemera Cleansing Beauty Oil premium AVO advanced formula
To cleanse with oil or not to cleanse with oil.. well actually, that should never be the question. Why? Cause oil is a miracle worker at de-gunkifying ones face from over-zealous foundation applications. If you are a follower of Love Luc, you would have seen my recent most (nay, essay) on my new found affinity with Shu Uemura Cleansing oils. It is true love.

Antipodes Joyous Protein-Rich Night Replenish Serum
$56

Joyous is such an understated word when it comes to this youth-injecting oil. I would happily go with ‘overly-enthusiastic-about-results’ or ‘cannot-contain-my-ridiculous-love-for-this-product-so-I-wrote-a-song-about-it’.. you get the picture: effing brilliant Serum.

A night serum that basically has superpowers, this baby is a natural treatment to help assist and repair damaged and dry skin by night. You literally wake up the next day with dewy skin thanks to radiance boosting ingredients like subtropical hibiscus flower extract, Himalyan Goji Berry extract and a base of red Raspberry seed and New Zealand Blackcurrant. Sometimes I find myself reading the ingredients and craving a juice.

La Clinica Baby Essential Stretch Mark Belly Rub Oil
$20

I, ladies and gentlefolk, have stretch marks. I am not proud of them, but I accept them. They are part of me and tell my story (of fluctuating weight issues). I know I will never be able to rid myself of them, but I do know, that by injecting hydration into my skin, that I can prevent further ones from coming about. This is where La Clinica Baby Essential Stretch Mark Belly Rub Oil comes in.

A 100% natural body oil with Inca Inchi Oil: an oil that is ideal for anyone starting to lose tone and elasticity (me!). This delightful organic oil will help prevent further stretch marks from appearing (perfect for those who are pregnant) and smells like the heavens: Neroli and Jasmine essential oils. Every time I use this beauty, I feel relaxed, hydrated and blissed out.

Organix Awapuhi Ginger Dry Styling Oil

Sure, not the usual skin oil that I have been mostly writing about, but ABSOLUTELY worth mentioning. This scent-sational dry styling oil injects life into your strands, whilst leaving it soothed, calm and well: just plain manageable. I use this baby after washing le locks and literally drift off to a tropical island.

Sweetly scented, this oil offers instant (I cannot re-iterate the word ‘instant’ enough) moisture and shine, with a side benefit of repairing. Oh, and don’t stress, no oily residue: just luscious, Ariel-esque locks that turn heads for all the right reasons. ** Cue a hoard of jealous girls **

** I was kindly sent Antipodes Joyous Serum, Organix and Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil for blog post consideration. This did not, in any way, influence my opinion on the product.
